Wrist Computer

http://www.yankodesign.com/2010/05/25/in-2020-we-can-wear-sony-computers-on-our-wrist/

Wow! A computer bracelet! It's hard to believe how far technology has gone is the past few years. Remember the early days? With those clunky CRT monitors and ugly white computers with system specs that would be considered tiny today? Now we've gone so far as to have a mini computer with a flexible touch screen on our wrists. The product is scheduled to be released in 2020, and do you think you would buy it?

I recently found this article about a guy who combined Kinect with the Wii Remote and used them to control Call of Duty for the PC. Although it seems like it would be easier and more convenient to just use a controller, this is still pretty awesome. I have no clue how he managed to do this, and I don't really see the point either, but at least it's better than that guy in Japan who hacked Kinect for full motion support and just used it for fapping purposes.

Your thought on this? What is you stance on the whole motion control phenomenon?

Protective Gear

Oh shit! Did that guy just hit himself with a hammer? That was my first response while watching this video. When the guy put on a ninja suit and started beating himself up, the OH SHI- factor kept increasing. It didn't really seem like he was hitting himself very hard with the hammer, and I can jump on my legs without that orange stuff and still be relatively unharmed, but shiiiiiit! It's still pretty awesome. I want to see where I can get this stuff and how much it costs.

Your thoughts?

I wonder how many 13-year-olds are going to get killed by trying to jump off huge buildings and getting run over by cars with this stuff.

StumbleUpon

StumbleUpon is a great firefox addon for finding new stuff on the internet. You check what interests you and then you just click on the button and it takes you to a random site having to do with your interests. It's great for just passing the time. I highly recommend it.

Here's a link to the awesomeness of StumbleUpon
